First Champagne winery, Maison Ruinart was founded in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart, Dom Ruinart's nephew, Benedictine monk, historian, theologian and above all visionary, he quickly sensed that Champagne would be particularly popular.

Maison Ruinart has the unique feature of not owning any vine but to buy grapes from local producers, selected for their production quality.

The 1993 Brut Champagne in Magnum R from Maison Ruinart Brut is a rare bottle in an excellent state of conservation which will delight lovers and collectors of exceptional wines.
