The 1972 Mouton Cadet is a wine from Baron Philippe de Rothschild under Bordeaux appellation, a blend of 84% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Cabernet franc. This wine was created in the 1930s, fruit of the labour and love for Bordeaux of the Baron Philippe de Rothschild who wished to make Bordeaux wines more accessible to the public... And the Mouton Cadet was born. The 1972 Mouton Cadet is the perfect gift for any collector of old bottles.
