More info

The 1972 Clos du Marquis is a Bordeaux red wine under Saint-Julien appellation and a blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot and 3% Cabernet franc. Often mistaken for Château Leoville Las Cases' Second Growth wine, Clos du Marquis has its own property which was created during the early 20th century. Clos neighbour to Château Leoville Las Cases, its exceptional terroir is surrounded by prestigious Crus from Saint-Julien and Pauillac like Château Leoville Poyferré, Château Leoville Barton or Château Pichon Longueville. The 1972 Clos du Marquis is to be tried as soon as possible.
