Family winery founded in 1824 by Martin Klipfel, Domaine Klipfel is now managed by the 6th generation. It spreads over 60 ha of vines, 15 of which are dedicated to Grand Cru exclusively, including Grand Cru Kastelberh, Grand Cru Wiebelsberg and Grand Cru Kirchberg de Bar, and in which is settled the prestigious Clos Zisser, acquired in 1830 and spread over 3.5 ha of an exceptional and ideally located terroir. Vintaged Grand Cru, the 1983 Clos Zisser « Vendange Tardive » from Domaine Klipfel is a rare wine for lovers of great Alsace wines.
