More info

The 1995 Château Durfort-Vivens is a Bordeaux red wine from the famous Margaux appellation. Thomas Jefferson, great wine expert, ranked this prestigious castle and Second Growth Bordeaux right behind the famous First Growth Château Lafite Rothschild, Château Mouton Rothschild and Château Latour. Property of the Lurton family, Château Durfort-Vivens spreads over 55 ha of vines composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet franc, producing a silky wine with fine tannins and a very good ageing potential. Ancient wine, the 1985 Château Durfort-Vivens is a staple wine for all lovers of matured Bordeaux.
