Château Batailley

Château Batailley is a renowned domaine producing great Pauillac wines. The red wines, ranked as Fifth Growth in 1855, are produced by Philippe Castéja. Composed of Cabernet franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, they are harmonious, fine and elegant wines, typical of the Pauillac appellation. Historically, Château Batailley and Fifth Growth Château Haut-Batailley's vineyards formed a single entity owned by the same estate and divided in 1939 between Francis Borie and Marcel Borie.
