Domaine Leroy

Domaine Leroy, jewel of the Leroy family and the Bourgogne region in general, is a prestigious domaine with a beautiful vineyard producing high-quality Bourgogne wines with an exceptional ageing potential and a strong character, famous for their maturity, opulence and smoothness.

In 1868, Maison Leroy was created in Auxey-Duresses by François Leroy and developped by his son Joseph and his wife Louise Curtely to become a renowned Trading House. Their son acquired half of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti in 1942 and turned it into an internationally successful property. In 1988, his daughter Lalou expanded the family estate by purchasing 14 ha from Domaine Charles Noëllat in Vosne-Romanée and 3.5 ha from Phillipe-Rémy in Gevrey-Chambertin. Aside from famous First Growths such as Corton, Renardes, Richebourg, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Clos de Vougeot, Musigny, Clos de la Roche, Latricières-Chambertin and Chambertin, and 50% of the shares from the mythical Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Domaine Leroy owns also 4.45 ha of generic appellation, 4.6 ha of village appellation and 6.30 ha of First Growth.
