Syrupy, moelleux or semi-dry, the wines of Tokaj are mainly produced with the furmint vine, which, under the autumnal mists of the valley of Bodrog, covers itself with noble rot. They are sought out, not just because for the potential quality increase of the wine, but also for their rich and refreshing aromas.

Hungary produces in other regions as that of Eger, the red wines such as Egri Bikavér, or around the Balaton lake, like the white wines with Olaszrizling vines, Ottonel muscatel wine andSzürkebarát.
