Rare wine - Vintage 1914

The 1914 vintage was particularly difficult for most vineyards due to World War I. The harvest was very late and good wines are extremely rare.

The cold and damp spring in Bordeaux did not promote good development of the vine. 1914 was not ideal for the production of a high-quality red wine and many wines stayed in barrels for too long.

In Bourgogne, the harvest was late and the vinification very tricky. However, the region managed to produce a small quantity of fruits anyway.

Champagne produced an excellent vintage in 1914 and these bottles are known to be perfect for important events. To celebrate an anniversary or a wedding, you might want to try the Louis Roederer, a delicate wine produced from quality vineyards.

An ancient wine is an excellent gift idea for an anniversary, a wedding or simply to treat a wine collector since these 1914 bottles are quite rare. They will delight any ancient wine lover.
