Located northeast of the « Dentelles de Montmirail », the Gigondas appellation is composed of layered parcels at 100 to 500 m of altitude on the side of the Massif. It produces red wines which can be tasted 3 years post harvest, and rosé wines.

Main grape varieties : Grenache noir (mostly), syrah and mourvèdre and other Vallée du Rhône varieties (except for carignan). Soils : Red clay with sand and calcareous stones. Style of wines : Heady wines with beautiful notes of red fruits and a good tannic structure.
