Château Mouton Rothschild

First Growth, Château Mouton Rothschild is the property of the Rothschild family and one of the most prestigious wines from the Pauillac appellation. Its international reputation is the result of the remarkable work of the late Baron Philippe de Rothschild. After introducing wine-bottling at the Château, expanding the estate and building his beautiful wine storehouse, he was the only one who benefitted from a revision of the Médoc wine ranking from 1855, granting him the prestigious title of First Growth. After his death in 1988, his now late daughter Philippine took over the estate with the help of Hervé Baland. Added to the perfect quality of the wines produced, Château Mouton Rothschild transformed its labels into original art pieces with the help of renowned artists including Miro, Picasso, Chagall, Cocteau, Warhol, Huston and Motherwell.
