Château Saint-Pierre

Château Saint-Pierre is a renowned domaine producing great Saint-Julien wines. The produced wines, ranked Fourth Growth in 1855, are composed of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 10% Cabernet franc. This 17-ha confidential vineyard is based on a soil of sand and Garonne gravel. The domaine is named after its former owner from the 18th century, Baron Saint-Pierre. It was divided in two as a result of a legacy and put back together when wine-merchant Van den Busche from Belgium acquired the estate. It is currently owned by Mr and Mme Triaud, daughter of Henri Martin and owner of Château Gloria.
