Château Lynch-Moussas

Château Lynch-Moussas is a prestigious domaine producing great Pauillac wines. The produced red wines, ranked as Fifth Growth in 1855, are composed of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. The vineyard is ideally located west of the appellation, based on a gravel soil and favorable to the production of very high-quality wines. The estate used to be the property of the Lynch family, owners of Château Lynch-Bages, in the 18th century and is now owned by Philippe Castéja, son of Emile, who also manages the famous Maison Borie-Manoux and other castles including Fifth Growth Château Batailley.
