Guigal

Maison Guigal is one of the Côte-Rotie jewels and represents alone almost half of the wine production from this appellation. It was created in 1946 by Etienne Guigal and was successfully took over by his son Marcel. Its international reputation is a result of his exceptional work accomplished in the vines, as a business executive and businessman. The vineyard expanded over time with the purchase of La Mouine, La Landonne and La Turque, excellence Crus highly-prized among wine lovers in the world. In 1994 was launched a prestigious Condrieu cuvée : La Doriane, and in 1995 : the excellent Côte-Rotie cuvée Château d'Ampuis. Aside from these mythical long-keeping wines, Maison Guigal also produces a large range of high-quality wines from various appellations.
