More info

Prestigious appellation from the southwest, Armagnac is the oldest marketed wine spirit in France. It has been on the market since the 16th century, sold as « medicine » for its beneficial properties on the human body. Today, the Armagnac region is split into 3 areas : Bas-Armagnac, Ténarèze and Haut-Armagnac. Aged in oak barrels since the 18th century, Armagnac is a blend of Bacco, Folle Blanche, Ugni Blanc and Colombard. With an exceptionally good ageing potential, the 1975 Bas Armagnac from the prestigious Domaine Clotte de Manon was bottled in 1995 and is a rare wine spirit which will please any lover of staple Armagnac, and make a perfect gift for collectors of exceptional bottles.
