More info

The 1981 Château Calon-Ségur is a Bordeaux red wine from the Saint-Estèphe appellation.

Historic domaine previously owned by Marquis Nicolas Alexandre de Ségur, president of the Bordeaux parliament in the 18th century and owner of Grands Crus Château Lafite and Château Latour, Château Calon-Ségur spreads over 55 ha of vines composed of half Cabernet Sauvignon, a third in Merlot and the remaining in Cabernet franc and Petit Verdot. Château Calon-Ségur's wine is a Third Growth Bordeaux considered as the most powerful of the appellation.

Ancient wine, the 1981 Château Calon-Ségur is a prestigious Cru, a rare wine to taste, collect or offer.
