More info

The 1988 Château de Fargues is a Bordeaux white wine from the Sauternes appellation. Property of the Lur-Saluces family for more than 5 centuries, Château de Fargues is managed by Alexandre de Lur-Saluces, former owner of the famous Château d'Yquem, and spreads over a 15 ha vineyard composed mainly of Sémillon with added Sauvignon. Confidential property, Château de Fargues has nothing to envy to the appellation's « big names ». Producing great syrupy wines, the Château de Fargues is a rare wine to try at least once in a lifetime.
