The 1953 Château Ripeau is a Bordeaux red wine from the Saint-Emilion appellation. Property of the Loubat family since 1917, Château Ripeau spreads over 15 ha of vines composed mainly of Merlot, located close to the First Growth Château Cheval Blanc and Château Figeac. Saint-Emilion Grand Cru since 1954, Château Ripeau produces staple, powerful, rich and complex wines with a very good ageing potential. Rare wine, the 1953 Château Ripeau is a Grand Cru for lovers of ancient Bordeaux, and will make a perfect anniversary wine.
