The 1973 La Chatellenie is a Bordeaux red wine under Haut-Médoc appellation. La Chatellenie is an integral part of the Saint-Éstèphe cellar which include Marquis de Saint Estèphe's and La Chatellenie de Vertheuil's vineyards. La Chatellenie is a group of 40 wine producers from Vertheuil, working on 45 ha of vines composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet franc. The 1973 La Chatellenie is a perfect birthday wine.
