The 1977 Médoc Baron Philippe from Baron Philippe de Rothschild is a Bordeaux red wine under Médoc appellation, a blend of 84% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Cabernet franc. This wine was created in the 1930s, fruit of the labour and love for Bordeaux of the Baron Philippe de Rothschild who wished to make Bordeaux wine more accessible to the public... And the Mouton Cadet was born. The 1977 Médoc Baron Philippe is an ancient wine... A real collection bottle.
