More info

With a family from Gênes who moves to Marseilles in 1815, Gaëtan Picon created a formula with orange zest, cinchona and gentian, all macerated in alcohol. He chose to market his product in 1837 and name it Amer Africain then developed a Picon range, from Picon Gentianne (Gentian Picon) to Picon à l'orange (Orange Picon). Presumably from the 1970s and in a very good state of conservation, this is a beautiful collection bottle which will delight Picon lovers and nostalgic fans of old Bistrots.
