Famous Champagne House founded in 1851 by Charles Camille Heidsieck, it quickly became famous thanks to the visionary genius of its owner. Heidsieck focussed his efforts on the production and maturation of the wine, and purchased 47 clay quarries from the 2nd century with a hygrometry favorable to ageing. He then publicized his champagnes in 1857 in the USA, where he quickly became a favorite. Now settled among the greatest Champagne Houses and owner of 30 ha of vines in Ambonnay, Bouzy and Oger, Maison Charles Heidsieck keeps improving with time for the greatest pleasure of Champagne lovers.
